What Is a Construction Takeoff?
A construction takeoff is the list of every material and quantity needed to build a project, measured from the drawings. Linear feet of wall, square feet of slab and drywall, cubic yards of concrete, and counts of doors, fixtures and devices all come from the takeoff.
It is the foundation of every estimate, because a price is only as good as the quantities behind it. We measure digitally in PlanSwift and Bluebeam, so every quantity can be traced back to the plans. You can apply your own unit prices, or ask us to turn the takeoff into a full estimate.
