What Is Millwork Estimating?
Millwork estimating is the process of pricing the architectural woodwork and casework on a project. It covers base and wall cabinets, drawers, countertops, backsplashes, transaction tops, shelving and the labor to fabricate and install them.
Countertop and casework scopes change with every material and mounting condition. Plastic laminate, solid surface and quartz are priced differently, and a counter mounted on cabinets costs less than one supported by walls and brackets. We measure each material and mounting type separately from the floor plans and elevations in Bluebeam, so your numbers match the drawings.
