Roofing estimating is the process of measuring and pricing every roof and exterior wall finish on a project. It covers shingles, metal and low slope roofing, underlayment, flashing, gutters, siding, trim and the labor to install them.
Roof numbers depend on pitch, waste and every edge condition. A steep hip roof needs more material and labor than a simple gable of the same footprint.
